How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

Interesting how I was just watching a spiritual video about yielding to the “kindness of affection” when there is a lack of clarity or goals. It was a show about balancing the divine masculine and divine feminine for whole soul growth and how sometimes easing off the divine masculine’s energy of strategic action, planning and decisiveness is necessary to allow space for introspection, inner wisdom and healing to occur authentically. Yielding in this way, it posits, can often spur paths in meaningful new directions. Maybe this is where balancing DM energy with DF energy where also surrendering to divine timing to allow for the cultivation of inner strength and wisdom for an energetic tune up to aligement is necessary for real soul growth and transformation to happen. In this sense, maybe saying no is not so straightforward for anyone because that could be the path to where the lessons are. I’m not saying to say yes to violations of spirit though that when people accept challenges that ARE part of their path rather than rejecting them that this is the path to evolution of spirit and what a soul has contracted to learn on this material plane and shouldn’t forgo out of laziness or ignorance. Thus, while I don’t think the principles for true sustainable spiritual growth are compromisable, I do believe that the path through it usually requires flexibility as times, people, events are constantly changing such that making decisions that shift positively within this dyanmism is best I think. So maybe the answer relies somewhere within the depths of intution, surrender, and cultivating a patient heart that everything will happen in good divine timing when deciding whether “no” is the appropriate answer!
